The PRODUCERS ON THE MOVE programme at the Cannes International Film Festival gives 20 promising emerging European producers from 20 European countries a platform and the opportunity to build and enlarge their international network. Participants will meet potential co-production partners and sales companies in one-on-one meetings and take part in project pitching, case studies, social events and a comprehensive promotional campaign.
PRODUCERS ON THE MOVE 2026 combines pre-festival online sessions with a four-half-day onsite programme in Cannes.

Interested producers who meet the application criteria, should contact their national EFP representative. The application process will close mid of February. EFP member organisations will review the applications and forward their recommendations (one per country) to EFP. From this pool, EFP will select 20 producers based on a complexe point system. The programme does not cover costs for travel and accommodation in Cannes.

Roxanne Sarkozi holds a Master's Degree in Communication & Media Studies. In 2018, she joined production company De Wereldvrede which specialises in author-driven films as well as TV series. Most recently, she produced the acclaimed series Roomies (2022-2025), created by Kato De Boeck and Flo Van Deuren. Her production, Julie Keeps Quiet, Leonardo Van Dijl's feature film debut, premiered at the Cannes Critics' Week in 2024 and was Belgium's official Oscar entry. Czech producer Dagmar Sedláčková is a partner at MasterFilm, a company which concentrates on auteur-driven films, documentaries and international co-productions. The films she produced or co-produced have premiered at prestigious film festivals, amongst them Cannes, Locarno, Berlin and Annecy. Her productions include Caravan (2025) and Butterfly Vision (2022). Sedláčková is a member of the European Film Academy and an alumna of Eurodoc and EAVE. She is also a co-founder of Girls in Film Prague, a platform that champions and connects the new generation of female-identifying creatives in the film industry.

Daniel Kuitunen is a Finnish film producer and founder of Helsinki-based production company Komeetta. Linda Mutawi is an award-winning Jordanian-Swedish producer and founder of Fikra, a Stockholm-based company which develops films between Scandinavia and the Middle East. She is a key collaborator on Tarik Saleh’s Cairo Trilogy, with one of its films, Eagles of the Republic (2025), premiering in Competition at Cannes. It won six Guldbagge Awards, including Best Film, and was Sweden's submission to the Oscars. An EAVE alumna with an experience of more than 23 years in international production, Mutawi develops bold cinema intended to cross borders, culturally, politically and cinematically.
