Five of the ten up-and-coming directors whose short films were presented in early July as part of the EFP programme FUTURE FRAMES at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival will now be going to the Seville European Film Festival in November (8-16 Nov., 2024).
The following up-and-coming directors will be presented with their films at the festival: Marthe Peters (Belgium/Flanders / Baldilocks), Marie-Magdalena Kochová (Czech Republic / 3 MWh), Hilke Rönnfeldt (Germany / A Study of Empathy), Emanuela Muzzupappa (Italy /The Love Servant ) and Lucía G. Romero (Spain /Cura Sana).

The Seville European Film Festival will see the five emerging filmmakers presenting their short films in a special screening, followed by film talks with the audience. They are also invited to attend the new industry programme FRAME Sevilla, with roundtables, presentations and meetings with investors.
The programme EFP FUTURE FRAMES – Generation NEXT of European Cinema, in collaboration with Karlovy Vary International Film Festival (KVIFF), is made possible thanks to the support of Creative Europe – the MEDIA Programme of the European Union and Allwyn, a leading multi-national lottery operator, as well as the participating national film promotion institutes, EFP's member organisations: Austrian Films, Cinecittà (Italy), Czech Film Center, Danish Film Institute, Flanders Image (Belgium), German Films, Icelandic Film Centre, Romanian Film Development, Slovak Film Institute, Instituto de la Cinematografía y de las Artes Audiovisuales / ICAA (Spain).

The Seville European Film Festival is an annual film festival dedicated to European cinema and held in November in Seville, Spain, since 2004. The Festival is made up of various competitive sections for feature films, documentaries, short films and non-fiction cinema, as well as special screenings, tributes and retrospectives, with the aim of providing a complete view of contemporary European cinema.
