European Film Promotion (EFP) is happy to announce that it will bring back producers from Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein to connect with European industry leaders at FILMFEST HAMBURG. In partnership with MOIN Film Fund Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein, the producers will take part in a dedicated programme in the context of FILMFEST HAMBURG INDUSTRY DAYS — including EWIP, the Explorer Konferenz and the International Film Distribution Summit (IFDS) — and connect with leading distribution companies to connect and discuss perspectives and future collaborations.
Europe! Connect is aimed to give producers the opportunity to talk to representatives from European sales companies at an early development and financing stage. Speed dating style one-on-one discussions offer the framework for future cooperations and joint projects.
Last year’s meetings not only led to valuable contacts and in depth talks, but also birthed a real success story: Holy Wood Dust, a coproduction between Italian company Solariafilm and German Doppelplusultra recently premiered at Venice Film Festival and will have its German cinema release on 3rd December 2026.
