European Film Promotion (EFP) and the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival (KVIFF) are proud to present this year’s ten outstanding emerging directors, selected for EFP FUTURE FRAMES – Generation NEXT of European Cinema. Their latest works will be showcased at the festival running until 12 July 2025.
The ten selected filmmakers will present their films to industry professionals, the press, and festival audiences, while also taking part in an intensive, tailor-made programme of networking events, panels, and one-on-one mentoring sessions.
EFP FUTURE FRAMES brings attention to the most exciting new voices in European cinema. The participants were nominated by their respective national film promotion institutes, with the final selection curated by KVIFF Artistic Director Karel Och and his programming team.
