goodbye susanne, welcome cornelia

European Film Promotion (EFP) is bidding farewell to Susanne Davis, the long-standing head of EFP'S Film Sales Support (FSS) who has helped launch the first pan-European support scheme for world sales companies in 2004. Susanne is retiring now and will be succeeded by Cornelia Klimkeit.

“Susanne Davis is the heart and soul of Film Sales Support. Thanks to her commitment and her excellent worldwide contacts to international sales companies, EFP has been able to create an important and at the same time flexible promotional support to promote European films around the world,” EFP Managing Director Sonja Heinen says.

FSS colleague Cornelia Klimkeit will take over the management of the programme from now on. “Cornelia has organised and helped shape FSS together with Susanne for many years and is the perfect successor. We look forward to working with her to lead FSS into the future,” says Heinen.

FILM SALES SUPPORT (FSS) is a financial incentive for European world sales companies. It is designed to help promote and sell European films outside Europe. To this end, FSS offers grants up to €5,000, resp. €5,500 to European world sales companies.
